This really hits home with me. I have been in this situation many a time. Its kinda funny to find something like this out here and how people feel the same way on some stuff.

Its good

Wowie...heehee. I loved this poem..I really do. It's fantastic. In the review you wrote me, I noticed that you didn't elaborate about your friend...but this poeam speaks all. But not all in a way that it's obvious for everyone to see and understand. Just, i guess, I just know where you're coming from. Secondly, since in This Gun Is Loaded i don;t like to respond to reviews, as I think it will take away from the songs themselves, I'd like to respond here.

This Life IS a good title, but I think I'll keep it Untitled. For some reason, I like to have my titles just as meaningful as my songs, and Untitled is my Title. I don't even want to understand what goes through my head...

I can write poems for **. But I can play a really mean riff on my Elec. Guitar. So I figure, why waste my time trying to become the next Robert Frost, when I can work on my musical skills, and still release emotions?

I'm glad that my last song "Untitled" reminded you of something. Most of the time, my songs are my own, and most people can't TRULY relate to it...but then again, most people interpret lyrics in their own way...so relating to a song, could really only be relating to how you interpreted the song. Did that make any sense? Well, after reading your poem about your friend, I have to say that you interpreted my song correctly:).

When re-reading this song, I usually want to throw, or break something. Lol. I never actually have (thanks to my superb self-control), but the thought has crossed my mind no small number of times... My cousin's band likes to use my songs, because they can't write them for **. And I usually let them use my material. Then when I go to their shows, usually at some club downtown, it's pretty cool to know all the lyrics to the song, AND no the meaning.

One time, I actually got really emotional while listening to them play during a show. They sent their manager, and my friend, right in the middle of the performance, to check on me. It was actually pretty nice of them.

I'm glad I can put things in perspective for you, and though some people judge my lyrics as something "emo-ish" I'm glad that someone actually understands. I don't think I'm being emo, do you?

I can actually write a song whenever I feel like it. Usually, if I feel like writting a song, it's not too difficult for me to summon up some feelings by thinking of something I've locked up inside. But I usually only feel the need to write a song when I;m feeling regretful, sad, angry, and sometimes just plain bored.

Well, here am I, writing you an entire essay of a review, but if you're like me, you appreciate long reviews more than the simple "Keep up the good work!" ones. Not that those aren't appreciated, but they're not all that inspiring. Well, since I figure you'll want to respond to this, might I suggest that you e-mail me? At slippingaway17 (at) gmail.com.

Thanks for your review, and I hope ytou respond.

I really felt this one, when I read it. I've been betrayed a few times, but I think that you really put things into perspective as to what goes through a person's mind. Wicked job, I can't wait to see what else you can come up with. Just out of curiosity, are you one of those people who only write when angered? Or just whenever you want to? Just wondering! You don't have to answer. Bye!
