Good beginning!

Wonderfully well written! Though i've read the first chapter so far, I can tell it's good and will only get better!

Good story. I wouldn't have strayed into the fantasy section normally, seeing as I find most of them are rip offs of books I've alredy ready, but I found this in Quik Picks, read it, enjoyed it emensly, and thought it would be my duty to give positive feed back. Good job. Keep writting!

Hmm, interesting...I tend to avoid fantasy, as it can become extremely formulaic, but as you reviewed one of my poems I thought I'd take a look. And I must say it is better than most - unlike a lot of fantasy authors, you don't focus too much on descriptive text, but on dialog.

Without being patronising, I recommend this tip: use verbs rather than adjectives/adverbs when you can, as they carry more meaning. For example "the rain poured down" is much better than "it was raining heavily". I'll check your work every now and then, to see how this continues :D

I happened to stumble upon this story with no time to read it, as I often do, but this is one I will make time for. I was barely able to read but a little of the first chapter, and I am already intrigued. The depth of thought that appears to have been invested in this is pretty awesome, and I have no doubt I will only be further impressed by what's to come (no pressure ;) )
