I read this a couple of times. First I was amazed by the words and images, then I puzzled it apart, and on third read it still held together very well. I like your style. Alot. You write what I aim for. This one works quite nicely, and by that I mean that the metaphors are striking (none awkward) and all in all communicates more than the sum of the words. I love the second stanza - 'on the for shores of my thoughts, I am seconds and minutes amounting to too late' was a couplet that made me shiver. So good!
