To me, I imagine this little scene in a restaurant, by candlelight. Romantic, yes, but somehow there seems to be an air of... of closure. And not in the good sense. There is anticipation between the two of you, (I whisper...) and hesitation too. (99th time tonight)

The italic line at the end, does that mean that you were shocked that she turned away? Yet didn't you expect it? *sighs* Maybe that's how things are. You KNOW it's going to happen but it still takes you by surprise, like the moment of death. Nobody ever really thinks, yes, it's my time.

(I just noticed that this review is far longer than the poem.) I like this. It's... deep.
