"or an impassionless desire" - what a paradox. and, yeah, sure, people are easy, but that's what makes it complex - the fact that people are, in the end, so simple and yet so fixated on making things complicated.

last line was a perfect cinch to the entire poem. nicely written.

-I love the over all theme and tone of this; we are all so easy to get close to before we're hurt. We're like animals, we don't know that something's hunting us until it actaully starts to hunt us, and after that we never forget. Wonderful piece, keep up the good work.
