bloodtide 2006-08-05 . chapter 1Excellent. I'm marking you down on my list of "People who can actually write on this god damn website."
I must say, despite that modesty of yours you're a damn good writer, much better than I could ever hope to be (Wow look, I got about 34 words down before self pity kicked in, a new record for me!).
The way you vocalise Early's character perfectly through your narration is a feat that most aspiring writers would murder for, I fear that my characters have difficulty dragging themselves from the realms of two dimensions.
Anyway if I said that I wasn't interested in reading the rest of this story I'd have to stamp the words 'Big Fat Liar' on my forehead.
Keep up the excellent work. |

Coffin Guardian 2006-02-09 . chapter 1Well, it's got the "End of the World" vibe down pat. Loved it. I'd definitely be interested in reading more. |
 Pigsflew 2005-12-17 . chapter 1Wow... Really, wow. |
Master Chief 2005-10-30 . chapter 1Awesome! Just awesome! You put us in the pilot seat with Red One and it rocked. I liked how it was narrated in his voice, and it remained constant the whole way through.
Great action and this could very well stand alone, but I would love to know how you plan to follow this up. A shame you don't plan on updating this.

otahyoni 2005-10-17 . chapter 1"If you want to read the whole thing, send an email to samnolting at hotmail dot com."
You just posting teasers now? :)
Really like this. The language is great. Great rhythm, great word choice, great images. I found myself leaning forward during the battle. Your point of view gets a little murky during take-off (switching between first and third).
I doubt this will end well, but I have to know. Does this count as my email? I'll wait a couple days, then send a real one. ;) Good job. |
Snarky Loki 2005-10-11 . chapter 1Nice. Been a while since I've been on fictionpress -- good to know that it's not all crap. |
