I don't consider them "wise words". All mothers say them! Except mine... Haha!

Now my instincts tell me to say 'What are you, seven? Get over it.'. Still, i know the feeling you're trying to express, you just need to find a way to do it.. better. In line with trying to keep all criticism constructive, i suggest replacing all the lines with completely different, much better lines. Based on your other work, yu're capable of it, and while i think this is just one bad piece amongst many good ones, this is dissapointing.

Oh my! This made me smile. I would have classified it under life/humour. ;) the exasperation is heart-felt. And the rhythm helped made it a jaunty piece.

Also, I like the way each stanza is basically the same. It aids in communicating the frustration.
