I think Lasa is setting himself up for heartbreak, but maybe that's what he needs to figure out a healthy balance in his life.

While I really like this series and many of your other stories, such as Finding Heaven, I do have one problem with your writing. While your plotlines are sound you go overboard with the details and your chapters are too long. I would be better if you cut some unimportant scenes and then cut down the rest of the story into shorter chapters.
