O, I like the movie dragonheart. I like this story. Voyance sounds kinda cute. You should update your merman story! I look forward to reading more of both of them!

Oh, the poor dear. I felt for him, I really did. *whimper* (Sorry, I have a weakness for the Abused.) I can't comment on your characterisation - not enough evidence - but it seems nifty enough.

I like your descriptions. I also have a weakness for stories with just the right amount of description - in this case, there is enough description to form an image, enough similes and metaphors to add that hint of poetry, but not so much that the story is dragged down by it. (Unlike my efforts.)

And the recital of the panicking animals followed by the cow doing what cows do made me laugh. I love cows like that.

Anyway, this looks like it will be good... and, unlike many fantasy authors who take themselves Seriously (yes, that was meant to be capitalised) I sense that you have a sense of humour. XD

(Just remember though - "it's" is short for "it is," "its" denotes ownership. So, "it's you or the village" is right, but "in it's maw" isn't. Sorry, pet peeve.)
