Wise, wise words.

Aww, this is beautiful. I love the lines "for we were to be so very brave/and never shed a tear before/ this audience of humankind..." Thats really nice. I like the flow of this and the whole idea around it. Its very good. Good job and KW and thanks for the review!

I know it's off topic...only half so, but it reminds me of praying to the Lord for something we desire, in good intentions, but He choses a later time than we would like...that disappointment that makes us stray a bit. How we had trust (and were brave) in the Lord before, but now we are weak and desperate. Anyway, good poem none the less...though my point of view is out of line. Keep writing. God bless, Katja.
