I hate the war too. Your poem was so good. I enjoyed the last line alot and also the part that says "Like a river we split apart

Nestling in a gentle creek

And leading chaos down a waterfall rampart

The answer to why we are a duality

Eludes us, making us remember our mortality"

TO be honest the whole poem was beautiful and so original.
