The ending sounded a bit ominous. I think the pimp is not going to be the best choice for him.

I don't remember getting the first ch in my alert so I was really confused as to what this was at first. When I realized I got really excited. Thanks for continueing. This ch was sad. I mean knowing alittle of his life already I expected it to start off hopeless anyway but to loose his mother like that? It just seems unfair some how.

You're right- that is a sad start. Some of your details were unneccessary- in particular, instead of sayig Benvenuto was thin because he was starved, just say he was thin and let the reader fill in the details. Other than that, though, very nice start.

Good start...not much to say yet, since he was only beaten and found his mother dead...maybe more when the chapters are a little more extented and more detail is added...maybe when he's out prostituting...I liked it so far though, I hope to see the rest.
