I'm...surprised. I'm surprised this hasn't had any reviews yet...because it's touching in a way that's hard to describe. You have amazing insight into aging, and the poem keeps its rhythm constant, so nothing breaks the steady flow of images and contemplation. Details like the letter, "embalmed in dust"... phrases like that are extremely powerful. "But he will not awake this time..." I love what you've said without coming out and directly saying it. I feel like I could go on a long time about this and still have more to say. I guess that's all that really needs to be said, then...a poem that keeps you thinking. Awesome. :)
