talk about images! This poem is beautiful, and I can't wait to read more. Awesome job. The repeating italizied parts are my favorite. It reminds me of my dreams to travel, and the sky is like the reality beating back the sunshine, telling me the same thing over and over again, that real life isn't all glory and sun beams. *shivers* Now I have goosebumps too!and yes, those short reviews drive me CRAZY-INSANE!

I love how you've taken a single moment in time and blown it up to these surreal propotions. Really makes you think about the strange and beautiful things you see every day, but take for granted because they're so familiar. Good one.

i love "thrusting bold what once was shy" the wording on that line is wonderful. it really kind of represents the entire flow of this poem, which is beautiful by the way.the rhyme scheme is good, you've done ir really well. and those last two lines - though appearing one other time in the poem - are really great as well. i really got lost in it, though the poem moved in such an ominous way, i could feel something deeper resting under the solemn surface.
