abusethis is better then anything i could have written, but i'm going to be critical and say that it might have been better if you had written this story in the first person, like from the eyes of one of the wolves.
otherwise this is very good except the fight between the Alpha male and the grey wolf which confused me a little.

abuseVery good, I've studied wolves quite a bit, they being my Spirit Guide, though such damaging violence is not somthing that happens oftain though of course it does happen from time to time. Thank you for the review ^_^ and no it was not a stand alone story, it was a sequel to Stone Heart which is based off my longer work Heartbreaker, thanks again, I can't wait to read Behemoth :)

abuseI I think you were really trying hard to show the 'natural side' of wolves, (sometimes people do forget and so this reminds us) but some details made it a wee vague. it could have used a little more detail, and different sentence structure to make the information flow better. Here’s what I mean by more detail Was this gray wolf thin? How large was the alpha? What about the landscape, the environment these wolves occupy, just small little details that lets us create this image of these wolvers in our heads. This little read was a good idea.

abuseInteresting, but not realistic. The young wolf had already been beaten and was doing nothing to challenge the alpha. Contrary to popular belief, wolves are not savage. If the young male was in a submissive state, the alpha would not have attacked.

Well that's my two cents. And sorry, no refunds.

abuseyes. that was interesting, and correct. I don't read animal stories, because people usually don't make them sound like animal... It's the same reason I don't write any. You really did a good job, in showing what they're really like... the grey female was an interesing controst.thanks.

abuseThis is a sad story. In a way there is a bit of a plot line going on there. Sad to say, the grey wolf will most likely die. He will be unable to hunt, and he is as weak as one of the cubs now.

The grey female made for an interesting little character. Perhaps the grey male was a potential mate at one time.

abuseIt's a fantastic piece, to be sure. I just think maybe the final confrontation between the alpha and the grey male was either vague or uninformed. Was the grey moving in too close to the alpha? Is that why he attacked again? Because if not- if the alpha attacked without the grey being confrontational himself, I think the perspective may be wrong. Wolves are vicious, but only when provoked or starved. An alpha will fight for his position and to ensure submission, but it seems to me that the grey was already a submissive and therefore not a very realistic recipient of the alpha's excessive violence. I could be misinformed though. If so, discount my comment. Anywho- everything else I though was excellent and very realistic. Great job!Smooches-CGUll_the_Wizpig

abuseHi there! Received you review earlier! And now on with the review! Well, like the way you portrayed the wolves. It was really fitting to the nature of the pack in reality compared to fantasy. I think it would be better if you tried to portray the way the wolves hunt their prey... anyway, good story again pal and thanks for the review!

abuseeh?

i guess this is just a short story that you randomnly thought to write huh?

well, the description of the way the wolves acted were good but the fight scene was quite foggy. No plot but just simple short writing. I like those kind of things. I heard they improve your writings alot. i should try that sometimes.

abuseIt was a nice read, even though it didn't really have all that much of a plot, but one thing really bothered me. Wolves don't kill wolves, unless they (the killer) are suffering from rabies. Even when they're fighting for dominance, it's really more about posturing and height than actual fighting.
