In this poem I found relativity... but I was shocked at the last two stanzas... I've felt, at times, like giving up on myself and the person I could be, because the my mother treats me at times... honestly suicide is a bit extreme...

woah. i got goosebumps from this.

"Now that you have given up on me--I can finally give up on me"--That's definitely my favorite line. The title is what made me want to read this poem first, what attracted me. This is a really dark poem, especially the last line, but I love darkness, so this is a perfect read for me. This is really, really good. Really heart-felt(?). You can tell these are really your words, your feelings. I love it.

I don't think I have ever read a poem here on fictionpress that hit so close to home as yours did. It is a very good poem, Great actually, but really sad. Keep writing. Ika
