Nice rhythm and flow; very easy to read and re-read, and with a simple but effective message.

I relate to this poem, although ever since I suffered trauma in my youth I have lost most of my empathy. I can't say I'm unduly upset; now I only feel it for people I love, whereas back then I couldn't control it.
