| Nemonus 2006-05-02 ch 1, | abuseExcellent. The wording moves a little from real serious to modern, but overall the rhythm is stable. I greatly like some lines that are very true; "Two eyes lost in the stars in search of wonders,/Thy longings are heavy young, ardent dreamer" "As that cursed fowl sings" (though I'm not sure what that means, I like it's the Raven) "So yet another dreamer left calling in the stillness for his Lenore" Fascinating how tradgedy makes us metabeautiful...The sixth stanza brings in some nice physical imagery. Sometimes you start rhyming and then stop, like freeform and rhyme in the same stanza, but somehow it works--"So we find that a dreamer is most beautiful when he is in pain" And so you touch on that.
