I love this! It's brilliant! I like how it opens, like a story would. Although the subject matter itself is a cliche for al of us, myself included, you manage to pull it off without making me think I've heard it ample times before. :D Yay!

I like the metaphore and moods of this, wonderful work. You hardly see poems that take on this persepective. Keep up the good work.
