I'm glad you clarified that this was about a cat bceause it sounds so much like it's about a baby left on someone's doorstep.

I love that stanza. I like how the beginning of the poem and the ending go together.

This is a really sad poem. :( I can hear your emotions in it. I'm sorry you have to lose your baby. :(

Aw, sad. Losing pets can be tough. I like the structure of the stanzas...it really is a fine poem.

:( you know, this made me cry. a few months ago- bahahaha, this is, so pathetic- I lost my beloved guinea pig, and, yeah, this hit home. nicely done.

Intensely heartbreaking, especially since I know exactly what you're going/went through.

This is so sad; I have kind of the same situation. I was really young when I got my first cat and she's lasted with me through the years and I can't even imagin what it will be like when she starts to die. Keep up the good work, and I'm so sorry that this is happening to you.
