If your question is not part of the poem (as it is separate) I would say that yes, things will change, your feelings will be sorted out in time. That is the way it usually is for all who have been heart broken.

As for the poem itself, it was well-written. It certainly conveyed loss and emptiness with a couple rather powerful lines. good job.
