A lot of emotion in this write. Solemn and honest and full of pain and sorrow. A good solid, meaningful poem. I hope that you meet your father someday.

Hi, I tried this before, but my computer went wild so I"ll try it again! I love this poem. It mad me cry, and so did your review. Thanks so much, that's exactly how I feel. my dad left before I was born too, and though I've seen him twice that was when I was two. I know how you feel and i'm so sorry. Perhaps when we get to heaven God will give us those father daughter dances we've missed. Wouldn't that be grand! I can't wait. I hope you find a guy who will help to fill that hole in your life. It's good that you've forgiven your father, I still struggle to forgive mine. God bless you and I love your poem. I'll pray for you. LY Livia

this is really good.. I will never know the feeling of not knowing or of losing my father but I have gone through many things with my father.
