It's interesting to see ragnhildr in this new environment, out of the kind of "power" her mother of sorts wanted for her.

What a beautiful chapter ! The point of view of Ragnhildr is wonderfully written ; it is so sad but so touching, well done !

I have always liked Nagesa’s character, and I really felt sorry for her... And Wihtgar ! You killed one of my favourite characters (well, I expected it, but one can always hope !) ! And he had a rather gruesome death... (I can’t blame you, I am myself sadistic to my characters !)

My favourite sentences in this chapter (a beautiful chapter, I must repeat it) : ‘Christian or pagan, everyone’s gods will sort through these things in the Otherworld, and good men will be rewarded.’ My thoughts exactly ! ‘All mortals have left is thought and memory, the twin ravens overhead.’ It is a bitter but stong picture.

Your writing sometimes reminds me of Marion Zimmer Bradley’s ‘The mist sof Avalon’ (well, I have only read a translation in French, but all the same!) It is perhaps a wrong impression...

I look forward to reading the next chapters. This Robin Hood character seems interesting... and I wonder where all this will lead us !

This is quite an epic tale ! It has taken me a long time to read everything, seeing that English is not my native language.

The whole plot seems realistic, you must have done a lot of research (I trust you on this : my knowledge of English History is rather poor). It's refreshing.

I love the characters, they are believable and NOT perfect. I appreciate it. I think Wihtgar is my favourite : I'm fond of bloodthirsty warriors. The main character, Ragnhildr (by the way, how do you pronounce it ?) is great, even if in the first chapters I didn't always understand her views of the world. But she has grown into a strong and touching woman : well done.

About this chapter : it is bitter and touching, and quite beautiful. As always it is well written, pleasant to read. I think my favourite scene here involves Wulfgar. And when Ragnhildr remembers her own lost beloved weapon... I found it really moving.

Well, I hope to read more soon !

I loved this chapter... the end was kind of bittersweet, like she's let go of the person she once was. the politics was also quite fascinating.

I honestly think I also caught a typo at some point (like, you left out the word "a" or something small like that), but I can't find it anymore, so maybe it was my imagination? it's also 2 am, if that says anything as to my mental capacity.

I love how excited she is to see him again :) it's so sweet. I'm glad she finally divorced her husband... he was not really worth it. though I suppose you can't be with someone for that long without feeling SOMETHING for them. but you know.

I kind of like Sighere. even if hes being all like "no women please".
