aw... this poem's so sad!! i guess it's true though. lying at least eases the pain for a short time until you can no longer hide from your problems... well, that's what i learnt... really good poem!

i like this... despite the angst, the pain.

i hope you're over this stage. stay strong and keep writing.

Hey, I really liked this, although there were some mistakes in it that made it not as smoothe to read as it should be. If you fix those few mistakes, it would be awesome.

I don't know what to say. It's an excellent poem and it goes in depth, or that it's pretty deep. It kind of has a point to it too. I'm looking forward to reading some of your other works, especially if there as good as this one.

I really like this. It has a lot of depth. Sometimes it is easier to hear lies than to hear the truth. It takes a lot of courage to except the fact that something is wrong. I really like the style you used. Nice work. Keep it up. ^^

Well, it's not really a poem, I guess. It needs a flow or a rhythm of some kind. It's like a dead verse, or something someone would write on a napkin in anger. Using a set structure isn't the worst thing in the world.

Sweet. I enjoyed the prospect of such self-loathing...Coupled with the KNOWLEDGE of it. And then you've got the whole concept of feeling better for having heard falsehoods and half-truths, because the truth hurts too much to deal with. Ignorance is bliss, and you've got a diamond in the rough on your hands.

makes me think, how even hope can be a sort of lie, but how important it still is, because maybe it's only a lie because it hasn't had the chance to come true yet. definitely keep writing, you express a lot of emotion here.
