GoldenEyedFury 2009-07-28 . chapter 45love it, starting on sequel in about 5 min. |
Opened-Window 2009-07-22 . chapter 45This. story. Is. AWESOME! No way in Hades did I think I would actually read a story this good on any website or book. This book is... special. Romance books are kinda pointless, adventure books usually don't have enough drama or romance, and I never thought I would EVER like a story with ANY kind of suicide thing in it. And I'm glad that you're going to be making another "book" for this. I'm also glad this wasn't overly long, or else I wouldn't be able to complete it before I have to go to Canada (this is right now the day before I set off with my family to meet some unknown relatives). LOVE your story, if you haven't figured it out from my excessive babbling. |
ZombiesHooray 2009-07-21 . chapter 45wow. wowowowow. great stuff man. i really enjoyed reading this story, and it has kept me extremely entertained through long work days. i'll be excited to read more stories you write. |
charm en route 2009-06-20 . chapter 45Oh, I still love this story. Although while I was re reading it I noticed the massive amount of grammatical and spelling mistakes that I hadn't noticed before. If you ever do continue writing (and I sure hope that you do), you should look into getting a beta reader, they help a lot.
:D
Also, your Spanish is a bit wacky, too. But I do love this story. :D |
 sarabeth120 2009-06-09 . chapter 1Hey there!
Just stopping by to let you know that someone on quizilla by the name of thebeav20 has posted the first chapter word for word (all they did was change the title) of this story with absolutely no credit to you. Just thought you liked to know! |
akaCHEEKS 2009-05-25 . chapter 45oh man. i feel bad that semoth's hard word was for naught. but i still did like it though |
 akaCHEEKS 2009-05-25 . chapter 1oh very interesting indeed. |
 53BookTitles 2009-04-05 . chapter 32Hi
I've been reading this story, but I don't think I can continue, so could you give me a summary of what happens?
And if Charles ends up with Izy I will be so **. No offence. And I hope that Jack's entire corporation dies.
If the character of Ally was put into another context I think it would be so much better.
Anyway,
Millie xx. |
Jenny 2009-02-01 . chapter 45 This story is by far the best I've ever read on . You are so talented and your work always sucks me in (no pun intended) when I read it. I can't wait to read the second installment, and I hope to see even more from you in the future! |
LettyV 2009-01-20 . chapter 45Great story! I liked Semoth... I didn't want him to be "taken care of" :((

 sunny-raindrop 2008-12-22 . chapter 45Hi!
I'm amazed, genuinely amazed. I don't really like supernatural/fantasy stories but I felt like reading one and now I'm very happy that I chose this one because it was wonderful. It was void of clishés, the characters were fabulously well-designed as well as the plot itself. Everything fell into place in the course of time and left me all "whoa".
I spent three nights with this story and I couldn't help wondering about it in the meantime either. So yeah, whoa. :) (Have I said that I don't like supernatural stories?) Oh, before I forget, I liked how Alex and Iz named the "monsters", it really made a difference. And I admit that (for me) the sister's relationship was the most staggering thing in the whole story. I cried when they quareled and when Iz died. All of these were so wonderfully written! The only negative I can add has to do something with grammar/spelling (I'm not sure which one): there were many "your"s instead of "you're"s and "to"s instead of "too"s (and some occassional "their" "there" ("waste" "waist") switches, but the latter really didn't poisened the reading).
All in all, you did a wonderful job! (I'm happy that Jack didn't became a softy all of a sudden and Alex didn't fall for him with the same speed either.) I'm off to read the sequel which is hopefully available by now. Thanks for the experience! |
Dark-Passion67 2008-09-24 . chapter 45This story was one of the greatest stories I have ever read on fictionpress:)
I was sad to see Isabelle go, hm.
I wonder if Charles is going to help Alex on her quest for revenge. |
AMM3485 2008-08-15 . chapter 45I seriously stayed up all night so I could finish this and who what a ride. I absolutely love this story. I think you did an amazing job. I am really sad about Semoth though, I LOVED Semoth. I didn't like how cold Alex was at the end, though. It was like he reverted back to his cruel and unfeeling self. I think that the characters, every single one of them were awesome. I hope Semoth will be in the sequel but I know he's dead as a doornail. Alex is an AMAZING tragic hero. She is freaking awesome. Jack is an incredible antagonist as well. I can't wait until I read the sequel after I wake up later. Seriously awesome freaking job. |
Freddy Teddy 2008-08-05 . chapter 45Are you ever going to make it so she falls for Jack? |
Syzygetic 2008-07-04 . chapter 45To say that I'm speechless would, in itself, be an oxymoron seeing as I have to say something to let you know that I am in fact speechless.
So the word I'll use is gobsmacked. That is how your story has left me; the voice, the characters, the intricate plot where everything coincided perfectly, nothing was out of place or character... That sucked me up for five straight hours today, and everything that made this writing what it is. But most of what left me gobsmacked, per se, is your sheer and utter talent.
And reading this in one shot was a really neat experience. Because even though your story grabbed me from the start, your story simply "soared and sang," in your words, once you let it flow. It wasn't immediately apparent to me, but after 25 or so chapters I really noticed how the level of your writing advanced, through 'till the end. And even though I don't even know you, and you're a few years my senior so it seems weird saying this, I'm really proud of you. I am.
I don't know if you even come on here anymore, so you might not even read this. But I don't care. I just wanted to let you know in some way that this story is one of the most well-written I've read, not even on here, in any book. I may not be a novel conneisseur, that probably displayed in my spelling of the word becuase I'm not sure whether I spelled it right or not, but I know a damn good read when I see one, like anyone else.
I know you won't let your talent go to waste. Good luck at university, or grad school, or your job or wherever you are. And props to you.
P.S. Please proceed to let your head swell tremendously from this review. You deserve it. |
