Really vivid images, beautifully written. Interesting use of the senses.

i love it. i absolutely love it. and i hate poetry centred around nature a lot of the time, because even when it's really beautiful i find it half-cheating because nature in itself is poetry already. but this was brilliant. love your summary, though i don't really remember it now, haha. refugees hiding in a chaotic world or something? brilliant. bri-lli-ant. you have an awesome voice for description and detail, and you tell a story around that summary without even seeming to and it's the most amazing effect. i love this to pieces. great job!
