anyway, this is a pretty good piece, I think that you make some good points, and I can see your point of view.

Change and the desire to achieve are very important...don't let Krugman discourage you, he will bash your essay and call it bad simply because him, and a few others on this site are afraid of change.

its the one thing that seems to scare them the most, because it means they may have to start being reasonable and less hard-headed.

It looks like you had an idea when you started but got lost somewhere. Look, please try to think things through a little more. I haven't seen you write a single coherent thing--in fact, I review most of the stuff you post in the essay section simply because it's so bad. You realize that your essay has absolutely no point to it? Your message and your anecdote are completely unrelated. Next time you write something, see if you can make it halfway decent before you post it, because this is actually depressing me.

You're right: I shouldn't have given up writing as a career, but I couldn't handle the competition! I was not strong enough! :(

And all those writers may look tame on the outside, but boy, do they bite like a shark.

On the bright side, now I can tell you what ligase and polymerase do. :D

So you're a loser when you give up? Ok, I agree. ...and who you are in High School determines who you will be in later in life? Uh, I disagree.
