I like this. It comical, somewhat dark (not too much) and very innovative. I like all the names too.

Now about your review... no, I realized it was just constructive criticism. Most of my reviews are like that. I looked over all the things you said, and took them into consideration, (after reading the story again. I haven't worked on this for over a year.) On a quick examination, I couldn't quite see the pitfalls of my novel, but when I have more time, I will do a more thorough analysis.

As this is a review of your story, and not your reviews, I will make a few more comments. I can't really find anything wrong with it, except for a handful of typos. I know I have my own, it happens, but it's a part of editing. Other than that, the transition from the scholar to the reading of the book isn't really clear. I understood it fine, but it might confuse some people.

I don't know how to fix it, I just know that whenever I do something like that I have asteriks dividing them, but whatever suits you.

All in all, good, and I want to see more.
