I find it's a preoccupation of the people who have come from the older generations, in particular, to classify people into right wing and left wing and leave it at that, simply latching on to their own believed alignment. You're right. It shouldn't matter. What matters is what's true. Anyway, it doesn't make a difference these days. Traditionally left parties become more right under the excuse of centralisation, only to make traditionally right parties have no choice but to go left. Lots of blurring everywhere... Anyway, I ramble. Excellent poem. It's audible tone makes it all the stronger. |
