hey i really loved the imagry you portrayed into this poem. you know they say the snow melts to become spring. that's one way to look at it. anyway back on topic, i could see the picture you painted with those words and i actually felt kinda cold.

I love winter. The first snow is amazing to me. But without doubt the most beautiful time of winter is when the air is chilled and all the snow turns to ice on the trees, sparkling in the early morning sunlight. I gladly give up my warm bed to step outside and just watch the crystalized trees sway in the breeze. It's a wonderful poem.

There's so much poetic expression available at our disposal, we just need to look *wider*. That's my view anyway. I liked this a lot, you portray your scenario so vividly and with a delicate elegance.

Amazing end. I think the last part made the poem. It was just sort of, "Huh." and it makes you think for a minute. That's one of the most important things about poems, and you did a great job.
