Aw this was so sad...I have a story kind of like this with the letter so that's why I read this. (mines called "Count Back from Three and Jump") And...this makes me want to know so much more about your characters...! But that's not the point of completely random one-shot :-P

Great job. Cathartic and has its own identity.
