OH god, I can relate to this feeling completely. You did such a great job of communicating the nostalgia and the summer feeling...I like it a lot. For some reason, and maybe this is a personal thing, some of the phrases don't sound polished...? Like, for example "summer fun" is a bit of a cliche, and "the whining in every household" could be better phrased. But I really enjoy this poem, and I like your style! Nice work.
