interesting poem...There's a typo in the middle of the second stanza- "its" should be "it's". I like the story behind this. Also, I like the first two lines of both stanzas; they just seem well poised.

It's been quite some time since I last read such a satisfying poem- the rhythm and word choice and phrasing are all superb.
