LeahDude 2009-07-13 . chapter 1So. I sort of now understand why you pointed out and warned people it was a one-shot before they read the story. So they wouldn't get attached, haha. Well. Bad luck, buddy. No, but seriously! I want a fully blown story!! Ugh. I always did have the worst luck. I liked Henry's diary, notebook thing. I always had one of those things when I have to go to the hospital and I'd just sit and stick photos and write comments and bits of poetry, little cartoon drawings and quotes that I like, concert tickets and just stupid things like one of my best friend's bracelets. He has them all the way up his arms, he won't miss it, haha. But I wouldn't call it a scrapbook, because it's not as impersonal as that, but it's not as personal as a diary, either. So. It's just...my journal/notebook thing. That is it's official name. But visiting hours are only so long so...I have to find something to do. It's nice, sitting looking through it with all my friends and boyfriend, laughing at all the memories and great days we've had. Oh. I don't know if you noticed or not, but the name to this story is 'Surpise Surprise' thought I'd add it in before I forgot. Anyways. Back to the story. I like the fact that Kenny isn't the average 'centre-of-the-crowd' jock you always are reading books about and watching movies with them dating the head cheerleader. You'd think God have pre-ordained it. Wow steretyping sucks. I mean, if I actually took notice of people's snide comments I would be the geeky, bi, awkward, scene/emo girl or whatever. I don't mind being that, if it's me. I just happen to think it isn't. Well, okay, the first two are right sometimes, yes, but geeky is the new cool, dude. And I am bisexual, so...yeah. But I am NOT scene or emo or whatever. Screw them. But I love little Henry's name! It's so cute :] Haha. Seriously. I can just imagine his character in my head and the name is perfect for him. Aw, he woulda been a cute kid. But. I liked reading the story, bit of a mixed reaction at the one-shot fact (I'm not sure if it would be better just left as it is, like some one-shot's should be, but I would have loved to got to have known the characters better. I dunno) and...thankyou for sharing, and all that.

Fading Madness Productions 2006-08-20 . chapter 1I just had a chance to read this, and wanted to drop a line that I enjoyed it immensely. I loved the fact that you left stereotypes in the dust by having Kenny not only as a nice guy and a football player, but that he's not just a nice guy in secret. He's an individual, with an individual personality, and it's great to have a chance to read something like that ^_^ |
