I didn't think it was funny at all.

A lot of the details about Mexico, crossing the border and stuff were way off...

For example:
A mexican, or other Hispanic for that matter, wouldn't move to the USA for such a... trivial reason.

And how does Pepe speak English? I doubt he studied it long and hard in Mexico without going to college.

None of the immigrant Mexicans I know crossed the border advertising themselves as Mexican by being dressed so obviously.

And donkeys aren't the preferred or most-used way of transportation in Mexico.

Elongated writing. Like, you'd start out saying somethign and manage to make a paragraph of it. I don't know. It was funny. Cute. Clever. Nothing of legalities, but that's all right. Fine job.
