Picturesque. The writing reminds me of the anime Revolutionary Girl Utena, but the atmosphere is something else. Like Madeleine L'Engle. A world in destruction but still beautiful, glorious, and the people on it fading to the position of mere observers.

I don't know why more people don't review your work. This stuff is fantastic!

Grief.. this is fantastic. The last sentence gives it ... a sort of abruptness that really suits the story. Great job. I -love- stories like this.
