Wow...that was really, really good. The stories were raw and intense, but the emotion didn't hit until the end. The worst part is how these stories could actually be someone's story, a true event in their life.

I have to say I've never read anything like this before. I love the way you showed us each story, of each person, in different ways (the poem, letter). It was beautifully written, very haunting. I loved it. Great piece.

It was unbearable reading these 4 stories - but I kept at it. They were so well written. And so scary because these stories happen all the time in real life. You are a great writer! Thanks for your stories. I've been going through them and hope you keep up with your writing!

Really tragically beautiful. This was an amazing story.

Reading these three stories, I felt as if all linked to the failure of the parents. Failure to see, to listen, to believe. I saw this as a story/poem, something that told u a plot but also gave u a feeling. They were good.

Needless to say, I got goosebumps all over. I love the style of this piece- how you build it up very subtly, until the last girl who should have had an amazing life, died. I like how you provide just enough hints about what's going on, so the impact is even harder. I think the ending could have some room for improvement- it's kind of awkward. But overall, a fairly brilliant piece of work. I will definitely keep reading your stories. :)

absolutely wonderful. Your best piece by far... not to say your other stories aren't brilliant, this one is just so fantastic, so touching... it draws you in, and the characters feel so real. It's beautifully tragic.

I haven't read anything since Rough Draft (actually read anything on this site)...bad bad Jess! This was amazing...definitely different from what I'm used to from you. Excellent grasp on all the character's problems and what drove them there. The end surprised me, I didn't see that last one coming! Great great job!

that's devastatingbeautifulrealhonest. i'm sorry i didn't review the last chapter, i didn't see that you'd updated. this is beautiful, i like that you're trying a new kind of story. a new kind of writing, a new kind of character... and one that, while she may be a familiar one on fictionpress, is absolutely real. you pull off the femaletragedy really beautifully, much better than the millions of fourteen year olds writing about rape victims (which isnt to say that there arent talented fourteen year olds, just that i know few who have lived enough to understand what it means to be rapedbroken).

you've been on this site a while, and i have too... i've always followed your work, even if i haven't always reviewed. you're an extremely talented writer and your writing has improved immenseley from your first stories. i love the way you get readers involved with the lives of your characters... as you did with this one. especially this one. i really loved this last chapter, it made everything so resolved. it's tangible and frightening, but beautiful. especially since this one was done from an outsider perspective, so it was like we were staring through a windowpane. it was wonderful.

so, i don't know how much i'll be lurking around this site anymore... but excellent work and you've got a lot of talent. keep writing.

That was surprising, I thought they'd all died...I believe it was a good idea to let the three girls "meet" in the end and see everything from a more distant perspective.
