faerie-gumdrops 2006-02-07 . chapter 2
Love it! This one sounded even more poetic than the last chapter I think. Don't really know why. Maybe because it's all passive and it's shorter or something. I don't know. Lol sorry for being so useless there! Oh, don't know if I said this in the last review (memory like a sieve, you know) but I like how everything's kind of obscure. I don't know if that's the right word, but I mean the way that the story focuses on what's happening now instead of why and what happened before etc. One piece of CC; did you mean learn in the last line? Don't mind me if I'm just being stupid!
faerie-gumdrops 2006-02-07 . chapter 1
I love the idea of looking at everyday tasks like washing up so closely, it's very original. It makes it seem like a much more dramatic event than usual. Great description here too, I love the way that you described 'stabbing forks and cutting knifes' so violently. I loved the way that 'the hands' had so much power too, they seemed to have a personality of their own as opposed to the actualy person controlling them 'the hand would have none of that'. Lol it's kind of like the hands are teachers or something, keeping everything else in order.
