I like this poem a lot.

"Did you know that the male platypus is venomous?

His voice comes through, quiet, revealing an obvious I love you."

Those are the moments. Nice job capturing that feeling of freinds-we're friends-I love you.

I've read this poem probably five times before now, but this is the first time I've actually thought to review it. You're an amazing writer--it's easy to feel the emotion in your pieces. I love that this poem seems so real, like you were able to take the precise flow of the characters' thoughts and put them on paper.

I found this piece pretty hilarious, especially the talk of writing a dirty romance novel. Lovely, I liked it.
