Have you ever read Stephen King? Probably, but the reason I say this is because what the madman says about being real reminds me of Stephen Kings' character Patrick Hockstetter in the book IT. Great piece, very disturbing, keep up the good work.

You have wonderful description, accurate wording, and very tangible wordplay. I like the ending, and I like how insane you made the character. It was very believable.
