The subject matter for this is excellent as The Outsiders is an important work that deals with both society and culture. The use of the Robert Frost in the movie was an extraordinary use of poetry in film. This poem "Golden", reestablishes that feeling in its tone and flow. Very well written as this relates well to both the movie and the Frost poem. Great work.

I watched the outsiders movie and spend like a half an hour getting it explained to me by my brother so I can really appreciate this poem. I like the spin on heart of gold because people use it much in that context only and not creatively. Also it was great that you planned this out and took a lot of time on it. I hardly even read back my poems for spelling mistakes. Anyway, great job!
