I felt a sense of desperation as I read this poem. It is a truly beautiful, sincere cry for God. It reminds me of those times when I feel myself drifting and I don't know what to do to bring myself back. You've expressed this in an awesome way - what we need to do is not to bring ourselves back, but give ourselves over to God and let Him bring us back. Thank you for that reminder. This is an amazing poem!

This is a very nice poem about faith and as your title implies, surrendering. Very nice descriptions. Though in the third line, it should be "What I carry is [mine] to keep."Good job though.
