You know, call me slow, but I've never really made the connection between love and blood before, I think that's fabulous that you did so with the common factor red! You really captured the range of this colours profundity with the girls feelings in this one.

Chillingly told and such a portrayal of love's intensitiy and the lenghts to which love can go even if this might not benefit the other person and therefore be questionable. (I have done the same thing and it has done more harm than good in the end, that's why I'm saying this). Still the text is powerfully and beautifully written and I can completely identify with the amount of love and sacrifice contained in the whole concept. This is going on my favourites list.

Wow, goes deep under the skin, this text and the idea behind it... Suspense is kept up nicely becuase only towards the end of the poem does the reader realize that the speaker has actually written these words with her own blood. Love is willingness to sacrifice. You have expressed this powerfully and perfectly, and as for the concept, you have no idea how much I can relate until you read some of my poems that express the same thing, such as "Last Resort".

Love is dedication and sacrifice this shows this so vividly !

Im rarely impressed by a story as much as I was with this one. I love how you connect love to sacrifice by using blood as your axis. I also appreciated your use as the color red to portrays love|s complexity, as a color can have numerous connotations (passions and love, as well as blood and death, in the case of red)
