Haunting to be sure, made me think of this old SVU episode, where this guy took tokens from the women he raped and gave them to his wife. I love the the begging...shivers...

Such an unusal perspective; very, very good imagery, wonderful description... it jerks you right into the story, and then shoves you back out. She knows the secrets, but you don't.
