simpleplan13 2006-02-04 . chapter 1great final question... very true and well done... made me think a lot |
catseyeview 2006-01-19 . chapter 1robbing Peter to pay Paul (as my mother always says) - instinct drives us |
Faithless Juliet 2006-01-17 . chapter 1They shall not inhabit
Our waking hours,
Yet images of their
Faces being caved in
Bring a certain degree
Of satisfaction
-Uncomfortable, yet the need for retribution through violence is an undying part of us. I think its natural to reacte with threats after being threatened. I maybe don’t condone or applaud it but I understand it. If only we as a world could put that drive of “eye for an eye” away for the greater good - now that would be the day. I really like this. It’s understanding while being unapologetic. Keep up the good work.
Much love,Juliet. |
Heather Montgomery 2006-01-15 . chapter 1Very interesting poem. There's something about the "pay the piper" idea that draws me in. I like your technique of putting a couple of short, powerful lines at the end. It really strengthens the poem. |
Darkened Soul 2006-01-05 . chapter 1 God, I undertand what your saying here! ** all, those who create such crap for us to cope with, and yes revenge is not the answer but the thought is sweetness anyway. You've captured this whole thing brilliantly! Agreed with C.C.C.
Don't get the point of MentallyMigrated comments. Unnecessarily rude. Still best ignored aye...
Loved it! |
Fabian Cortez 2006-01-05 . chapter 1Response to (MentallyMigrated): Glad you liked the work: (Don't quite get the endless appearance of my name comment??) Please keep reviews relevant to the piece of poetry or story to be reviewed.
Thanks again for the appreciation of the poem.

in theory 2006-01-05 . chapter 1I like this a lot, though I was slightly dazzled (and mildly unimpressed) with the endless appearance of your name. It felt a little..unnecessary. Besides that, your style is polished and thought-inducing. |
hoowdoideletethisaccount 2006-01-05 . chapter 1Interesting concept for a poem. I've thought alot about how things tend to snowball, in our lives; one little sin effects us, and so many others, in such unforseeable ways. It's a sobering thought- to realize how much our actions can mean. And you're right. Revenge isn't the answer, that's for sure.
Thanks for the thought-provoking read. |
 sloppy firsts 2006-01-05 . chapter 1brilliantly said. |
