So good, but really sad. I love the descriptions you used, they made the whole situation seem so incredibly real to me. I also like that last idea of the song... almost depressing because it seems as if the mother can only sing about happier days, but at the same time it's so hopeful because unexpecting joy can always happen... for mother and child.
