i love the comparison from this relation to one of divorced parents keeping it together for their child, i've thought that so many times before, but i couldn't get it write, thought it wouldn't sound right on paper because of the way i write, but this was amazing. you did a nice job with this, love 'flee from each other, till we meet each other on the otherside of the world.' that was gorgeous. wonderful job.

Very interesting, well written poem. While I have never been in this kind of relationship, I have often wondered, seeing my friends in dead realationships, what keeps them from breaking up--why do they get so used to each other they can't exist seperately.The ending was my favorite part. Keep writing.
