The Inkslinger 2006-01-21 . chapter 1
*droo~ol* Honestly. This Poem is a work of pure art. Real live art, I tell you. I hope you're proud. When I first saw it I thought you'd gotten it from an anthology for class and had to write a paper on it or something of the like. *beams*

But yes, it's so darn sensual, so graceful and suggestive... telling of desires forbidden yet so very alluring. Mina, you outdo yourself. I haven't found anyone else, sans professional, who could write poetry I actually not only liked but enjoyed as I do yours- poetry that I continued to mull over and think about even after I'd finished reading it. It's so very good. I hope you're damn proud.

(Forgive me if I'm nonsensical. I've just spent 4 hours on economics. Hell.) But the poem makes me feel so much better. Er... now that sounds creepy-- uh... oh, heck, you know what I mean.

Hah, speaking of dark poems- do you know who Robert Browning is? His stuff is dark (disturbed) and lovely, much like your Straight Halo. Love isn't always about roses and prince charming. What about the possessive, overwhelming, frightening side? (Again, if you haven't, you should really read some stuff by R. Browning.) Totally about love like this.

Hem, and usually I don't go for dark writing, but I'm smitten with this poem. My muses/inspiration are also stirred! If I was any good at art, I'd draw a scene to go with this... there's a perfect image in my head. *nudge nudge*

Hm, and I wanted to pick a favorite line, because I usually have one that jumps out at me... but I just like this whole piece. It's so sin-ulous.

*love* I am still in awe, Mina. How -do- you do it?

I like it ^^ It is different from what you normally do, but sometimes change is good.
