The Fourth Fate 2006-01-08 . chapter 1
Woah... Okay that's going to keep me up thinking tonight. The "why" questions... I've had enough of those (but I love them). They never seem to be answered. It's like my 4 year old cousins always asks. "Lily, let's get dinner." "Why?" "To eat." "Why?" "So we won't be hungry." "Why?" "Because we want to be happy." "Why?" And the bitter irony of it all is that Lily (my cousin) really is being the deep, intelligent one. I mean, why do we NEED physical things (aside from all those medical/scientific reason)? Why is there anything? Ah these why questions'll kill you. Anyway, but I sort of like wondering, in a sick, perverted way. I love torturing myself by realizing (repeatedly, it seems) that I will NEVER know.

Alright, enough about me. How about your poem!

"Maybe I'm a parasite looking for a host." I love this line. It's so vivid and puts these pictures in my head. Great imagery.

My other favorite line is, "Maybe I'm a lot weaker than I've always assumed." WOW. That's amazing. Funny how the last two lines are my favorites. It's because they're just so moving.

Bravo. This was excellent. Keep up the good work.

"All the memories of those I've lost, guide my morals of the past and present."- I really relate to these lines in particular. Great poem.

Wow Stefan. Extremely powerful piece. This reminds me of a similar conversation we had had a few days ago; it definitely gets me to understand more fully.

By the way, from what i know your pains are not "small" so quit acting like they are. The last line, "Maybe I'm a lot weaker than i've always assumed." is a great ending, by the way.. It is the type of conclusion that you stop and think about, and you continue to think about after the fact. Personally, Stefan, i think you are a lot stronger than you have always assumed. But, that's a conversation for another day.
