It's good. Very good. But you make it sound as though evil might not be the most beneficial way

Even though you wrote this about the Black Mage, I felt some personification in this, and I somehow thought that this would be very good for a person. I love the emotions and the last paragraph was hopeful, but the last line was the best. Yes, everyone has to be tainted.
